The point I find most interesting is that, beyond a certain level of complexity, the problem stops being only about context management and becomes a state management problem. If the operational state lives inside the prompt, retries and handoffs can introduce errors that are difficult to detect. For long-running workflows, I think it is more robust to separate working context, a persistent state store and an audit log, using idempotency keys and versioning to avoid duplicated side effects and context drift.
