Is this how it works with Hashnode? If so, does that mean once the subdomain has been extracted then it is sent back server side where the page is returned and rendered? What about the individual comment functionality etc... where does the presumable project api come back into this - in the case of Hashnode? This is awesome by the way, also loving the icon.
