Nice post! Finally something positive to read about WordPress again. Funny I find that I also basically use the plugins that you suggested.

The reasons you mentioned in your post hit the nail on the head. WordPress is also great for people who like to tinker with their website themselves because WordPress simplifies so much in that regard.

Otherwise, the links to the plugins you recommended all point to the same page.

Hey thanks Kevin. Yeah, I think for a while it was 'cool' to hate on WordPress. Some folks don't give it enough time before making a decision. And some only focus on the tech not being the most perfect stack, while failing to see the real value. I don't know, but there is a lot of good that I personally get out of using it. Including making small, fast tweaks like you said.
