I would definitely resurrect my Grandmother.
She was a teacher in primary school from where she had many stories. At those times there were no separate classes so she taught pupils from grade 1 to 4 in parallel.
Before she left us (just a few years after my Grandfather died), we had been talking on the phone almost every day for years.
I really miss those calls, I would be happy if I could talk to her again. ๐งก
Ok now I have a new game to play this weekend!
When I was in grad school I took a course in Computational Creativity. Certainly an area of research worth looking into, if you are interested! I have tons and tons of resources. My thesis was supposed to be about that! :D
I have to say, I have very serious doubts about the validity of the underlying premise of the whole AI persona thing. Specially if the author is appealing to the Kurzweil curve, which is problematic, to say the least.
Check one of my favorite books on AI by Melanie Mitchell. She takes some pages to explain some of the problems with what Kurzweil proposes.
You will probably also find interesting this article by philosopher Sean Dorrance Kelly. He argues that computers cannot be creative for the sole reason that creativity is socially embedded. Just as cognition in general, I might add.
That said, the question of whether machines can be truly intelligent is open. And I plainly have no idea of the answer XD
