Yeah organizations exist. On the dark-web. In forms of illegal drug markets and they have been around for some time before you jumped in on the buzz. They are decentralized and independent, accessible trough encrypted nodes. They mostly are based on blockchain and cryptocurrency. Do you honestly believe this is the future of the web? Do you even know what the basics are? Can you explain on which layer in the OSI this would actually happen and with what equipment? Furthermore, which governing body will approve this to become a standard? I honestly don't mean to be disrespectful here, and you made the effort to write all this and probably done some basic research, but.... Until you realize the complexity of what you wrote here you will not understand it. So, I suggest you learn how the current web works (I mean deep dive into it) before you even form an opinion let alone make brave clairvoyant predictions on how we will all work in this beautiful pink world, which we don't even know the cons or the potential security flaws and missuses can come out of it.....I can go on and write an entire book here, but I'm not.

I wonder...when all this buzz calms down and this so exciting "new" approaches of blockchains and decentralized stops buying clicks for all of you talking about things that don't fully understand and on top of that predict that the future will be based on that. I want to make a deal with you. You make another post then in a couple of years or more, where you have actually researched that blockchain is a one "kind of" way to achieve a concept of way to achieve eventual consistency. Something that is not new but has been around and is actually used when you reach a level of your system that probably 1000 companies in the world have reached. The web is already decentralized. There are governing bodies that you need to persuade for this to become a standard and not just frontend developers "wet dream" No one is talking downsides and that blockchain has several potential security points where it can drastically fail. The people that are making money you've mentioned are making it because of initial speculation, not because of superior technology What you generally describing is for all of us to move to a dark-web based scenario, again, there will be opinions about that So, I've seen initiatives like this come and go, some have stayed but found another purpose. It seems like no one likes to admit that having your data to yourself while offering it both hands to the entire world doesn't stick. What do you mean owning your data? And companies won't be able to misuse it. If they don't get your credit card statement from the encrypted nodes, they will just buy the information from Visa (just a dumb but plausible example) It's all nice and good to promote the Hashnode platform but let's please take back our profession and go back to looking at facts, theory, science and math behind it. Not by doing 6min to read posts that make no sense other than misinformed people looking to profit from the buzz!!!

I have to jump in here and be a voice of reason (call me a party pooper but I've been around long enough to feel a buzz coming from far away). "Trigger happy" is the cowboy term that comes to mind when people make brave clairvoyant predictions like this. You have to realize that some of these concepts you are talking about have existed in some form (first theoretical, then different practical approaches to implementation). Creating a buzz will get you a few blog posts and likes but it won't change the fact that you're trying to oversell something I'm suspecting you don't quite realize and understand completely. Let me roughly try to guide you trough the stages of a system (web based since you're talking Web 3.0 here) The request response way of communication is the first and most optimal for usage when your system is small and you don't have that many users. When userbase increases you start optimizing by maybe CQRS pattern. Most likely when you need to redesign your system around when you reach ~100K - 1M users This is when you maybe introduce orchestration and similar approaches as you might need to dynamically scale. 1M+ you start restructuring and redesigning to accommodate for the fact that you will need to split every step of the flow and decide based on operation how fast should you get it back. Most probably something event based, cached, scaled, using real-time signaling etc. ** 10M+ is around the beginning of a new stage of development of a system that is simply too big for one approach you have to further drill down each operation and the way it goes trough the system. But, the timespan you have is so short that you need to start making compromises. One of the approaches you could take here is go for a paradigm called "eventual consistency" and use event-store systems. THIS IS WHERE BLOCKCHAIN could come in as a concept. Eventual consistency is an approach where a lot of operations are event based and asynchronous. They are all over the place. Some mechanism has to make sure that they are all structured and that the order of operations is known. Again you could use blockchain but there are more efficient ways to achieve this. I just simply cannot see why and how a consensus would be achieved in the web community and the governing bodies around www etc. would even suggest such a thing - forcing a very specialized concept on areas where we don't need them. Hope this just encourages you to learn stuff more in-depth before you start making predictions and assumptions. Good luck!

Nice article. I think you touched up on a very difficult and very deep subject that somehow in this noise talk of frameworks can easily get lost on a young mind (and old for that matter) that reacts as if it so far away from them, it's never gonna happen. Until it does. Two months later...You're having panic attacks, you don't recognize yourself anymore, but most important you start questioning everything you do. I've been around in this industry for so long (>25 years). I have had it happen several times to me and I've seen, chatted, helped hundreds more. It ends believe me. Especially if you find out that it is not the end of the world even if you don't work as a developer or even worse: entrepreneur. After each time I find something new to be grateful about. I have to say with me, personally it has not had that influence. I've had crisis, of course. But I think that today I love what I do even more that when I was starting out. Or, maybe I've just gotten better at noticing and appreciating the little things, you know, family, friends etc. :)
