But as you pointed out, the internet serves various purposes, and the web is just one of its many applications. Email is another essential function of the internet, and it employs a different protocol called SMTP, which stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. However, both HTTP, used for the web, and SMTP for email, operate under the hood using the TCP protocol. Again, thanks for your contribution and kind words.
