I'm a bit curious as to why you've recommended learning jQuery and AngularJS? AngularJS is on LTS by Google in favour of the latest TypeScript version of the framework . I don't know if recommending people to use an older, soon to be deprecated version of the framework is a good idea. The article you've written is informative otherwise. It's a shame that you didn't recommend C# and .NET with ASP.NET Core. 馃檪
It's kind of interesting that you mention that from the perspective of a frontend developer. I always thought that Linux or OS X environment was best suited for web development, simply because of the command-line tooling being available from bash or shell terminals. I would use Angular CLI, Yarn, and NPM as examples. Not sure if they have counterparts that work just as well with PowerShell, or something. I often find myself using Windows Subsystem for Linux for a lot of web-development tooling in Visual Studio Code. But then again, this is all entirely subjective. Always good to hear other's perspectives.
