Correct me if I am wrong but ghost blog is a paid service?

I see. If quick development wasn't a concern would you still recommend PHP? Mainly seeing as PHP trends in the job market looking like they are going down, curious what has a better chance at being future proof ( or at least last longer and be considered modern)
