I don't think it sounds boring just because it is not a programming job! Every profession has interesting aspects if you take the profession with the right attitude. Your job seems very exciting to me!

My three main three advice are: SHOW, DON'T TELL: If you want the job, show that you can do the job. Show your previous projects. You can pick from projects during your studies, personal projects... That's a great way to show that you have the skills that they are looking for... APPLY FOR INTERNSHIPS : Sometimes applying for an internship could be a bit easier than a fulltime job. There is less pressure with an intern than a fulltime employee, and you can use that at your advantage showing the skills you got! - NETWORK : Go to local meetups, local developer events, conferences and start talking to people. Everyone is hiring and talking to people can really open doors... Hope it helps!

Once upon a time, there were 2 superheroes that offered to make a stupid test to a talented content creator. She declined. The superheroes got defeated and closed their company. LOL!

This is not the first time that I hear such a 'horror' story. She did good rejecting the job: being a mum is such an important moment in a woman's life! More important than any job out there.
