How's its performance when queried with millions of records? compared to ES.

I dnt know what exactly you mean by sharded. We will be having data of more than 3 million places and would need to find places around various longitutde every few seconds. And yeah 100% consistency is not required. Maximum is good. So my query which will be speedy?
