I might use Expo for the v2 of a small app that I previously develop in Ionic. So I don't have proper experience with ejecting and using ExpoKit. So far (from a 1h test) seems more mature than 4 months ago when I made the decision to not use Exponent for a large app.

Expo is mainly a client SDK. I don't use it for our mobile app as it doesn't support any third-party native package. The biggest service they provide is Expo’s push notification service.
