I don't know its etymology, but I often struggle with coming up with an intuitive name that my client will understand when they're editing it in the dashboard. Suggestions other than 'banner'?

Are prominent libraries such as jquery available in alternative languages or have some kind of localization at build? I always wondered how non-English developers use English libraries. A language barrier would make understanding a method name that much more difficult.
