PowerShell ported to .NET Core V1 and that was a pretty heavy lift. .NET Core would have been much easier. Still, it was a great investment and has allowed us to expand the scope of PowerShell far beyond what we would have been able to do otherwise. Jeffrey Snover [MSFT]
