Agree, Hashnode polls are very limited but also easy to use for quick feedback. I voted for VS Code :D (I just didn't posted my answer on a separate entry on this thread). I've found that it is a very nice and customizable editor with a large and mature plugin ecosystem, not to mention that its FLOSS (MIT license), available on the three major operating systems and features are being added regularly (they do a release every month)
Yes, I think a whole year is enough time to reflect some changes in user preferences. Just for instance VS Code is now an option and a favorite (at least on this poll) and that wasn't the case on the ones you are linking to. Don't forget that the group of people that is participating on this (and any other) poll can be way different from a year ago (new Hashnode users, existing users that didn't participate on the other polls, etc.) I think you are trying to make a valid point in that we should not pollute the timeline repeating the same question again and again, however I don't see that the links you provide demonstrate that this question is being asked so often that the OP can be pointed out for not having used the search.
