My path to freedom: 1) Learn tech skills every day. 2) Write about it every day. 3) Profit!
Nothing here yet.
Great article, thanks. I'm in the very beginning of my journey into Web3, (learning HTML-CSS etc) but I do both plan to "learn in public" and produce content regularly. Hopefully, soon this will result in maybe some freelance gigs here and there first, then to a full time job. Very assuring to read that someone did this a few months before me and have been successful. Now my plan feels more doable and reliable. I also appreciate how you talked about hackathons and non-tech jobs. I recently have joined codesless conduct and got a bounty for a tweet I have written. Looking forward to joining even more events in the future.
Hi Nader; First of all, I'm so grateful that you are doing this AMA. I love your web3 videos on YouTube. I want to become a blockchain developer, but I have no programming background. My current plan is to simply finish these 2 tutorials: Python for everybody Solidity, Blockchain, and Smart Contract Course – Beginner to Expert Python Tutorial And then apply for some jobs. Do you think these are enough to land my first job as a blockchain developer? Would you add something, change anything? Are there entry level jobs for people who just completed some tutorials? I want to land my first job ASAP.
This is a very good write-up. And both freecodecamp and The Odin Project are great resources for learning web development. I though about that path a couple years ago, but they seemed intimidating. They have hundreds if not thousands of hours of training. It is a good thing for long-term in-depth learning, but I needed something that I can handle in a couple months.
