Education is one of the most important components of a person's life. It should be regarded as essential as the air we breathe. Learning is the key to having a healthy mind and being successful. Malcolm X famously said, "You're not getting anywhere in this world until you have an education." His comment emphasizes that in today's competitive environment, a decent education is necessary since it will act as our weapon to conquer the world. Education makes life better individual since a well-informed person will be better able to handle any challenge that arises. Literacy is the cornerstone of who we are as people.
Hi Nader;
First of all, I'm so grateful that you are doing this AMA. I love your web3 videos on YouTube.
I want to become a blockchain developer, but I have no programming background.
My current plan is to simply finish these 2 tutorials:
Solidity, Blockchain, and Smart Contract Course – Beginner to Expert Python Tutorial
And then apply for some jobs.
Do you think these are enough to land my first job as a blockchain developer? Would you add something, change anything? Are there entry level jobs for people who just completed some tutorials?
I want to land my first job ASAP.
Hi Mr. Nader I'm also a small YouTubers I just wanna ask help to you but my channel still no improvement I'm looking someone can help for me... If you can help me it's my pleasure.. and I'm so glad that your a blogger too
Hello Nader,
I am getting my feet wet with creating and deploying subgraphs. I'd like to persist data in a database other than postgres, but am unsure how to go about doing so, I am using this repo as a reference graph-node repo. I am wondering if it is just a matter of changing the properties in the docker-compose.yaml to use the docker image of my desired DB, or if the graph node has other dependencies that rely on postgres. Any advice is greatly appreciate.
Best, Flor
I’m victor a React Native Developer currently I’m learning web 3 at buildspace learning how to build DApps on web but I really want to build DApps for mobile devices, I need your help on reseources on how to do that on react native thank you so much
Hi Nader!
I began my Web3 journey few months back. I've built couple of DApps with Buildspace. For someone looking for opportunities in Web3, what other kinds of projects would you recommend should be really cool to add in portfolio?
Thanks. Love from India.
Nader,
I've been a big fan of your work for some time, and have benefited from a lot of your written and video content. How do you organise yourself to both learn and produce so much content on a regular basis? Do you set a strict schedule for yourself? Do have any productivity tips that you find helpful?
Was the DevRel role at AWS something you sought out or did it come about because of the amount of content you were already producing? Was it something you had previously considered moving into?
Hi Nader,
What was it like switching from frontend development to React & React Native consultancy and training? The skills are very different and it can throw a developer outside of their comfort zone. Were you comfortable immediately switching a trainer and consultant role? What tips would you provide for someone looking to make the same move?
A similar question when it comes to public speaking. What motivated you to start public speaking and what was it like at first? How did you overcome the nerves to start and is it something that gets better the more you do? What tips would you provide for someone looking to start but very nervous about doing so?
Thanks.
Thank you for doing this AMA Nader Dabit! Super excited to see the answers you post on all these questions.
My questions for you are:
Another one for you :) If you owned a platform like Hashnode, what would you do to help the web3 community? I know it's very open-ended but would love to know your thoughts on this.
Thank you :)
Hi Nader, Thankful for all the content you put on the internet. Can you share with us the list of resources that were very helpful when you were getting into web3?
Hi Nadar,
I am a newbie SWE. WEB3 is a hot topic nowadays. I wanted to ask some questions like What is the need for learning Web3 and according to you what is a good roadmap to learn Web3?
Thanks Anshul
Hello! I am khadija ,a first year cse student .What should I do in my running days to be a great software engineer in future .As I don't have much ideas about how to follow any roadmap.
Hi Nader 👋
Thank you for taking the time to do this.
How much Vanilla JavaScript basics should learn or be comfortable with before I move on to React?
I know most of the basics in Vanilla JavaScript and I have built some projects with it only without frameworks, but I have been hesitant to start using React since I hear a lot of "you should know the basics first" but to what extent or degree?
Which takes back me back to my question 👆
Thank you. 🙏
This is awesome! ❤️
My question is, and I'm pretty sure many people have this question, is Web 3.0 overhyped? Or is it going to be as big as it sounds?
Also, how important is Web 3.0 actually? Do I need to add it to my skill set or will it live as another thing I can learn but is not important?
Thanks very much for this AMA. Web3 has been the subject of talks this days, what does owing your own data offers you, that the tech giant holding it doesn't. Is web3 paying for ur datas or what they intend to do with it since nobody have control over ur data.
The web3 idea for using a block chain account for verification process is great, do u think the verification process will replace the tech giant identity verification.
what is your advice, roadmap for people like me diving into the web3 world.
Public speaking is rough and am scared. I really want it though, how can I overcome this
Thanks once again ✊
Hi Nader , I want to blog but i loose the context and give up on it. Any suggestions
Hi Nader 🤗
Thanks for taking the time to do this.
My Questions:
As a developer, should I be in a hurry to get started with web3 (upgrade my skillset) or continue with web2 technologies since that's what my company and work require?
Do you think they will be a dedicated frontend framework for web3 in the future? (just curious)
Thanks 🙏
Hi Nader 🙋♀️,
I've also been following you for quite some time; it's great seeing you here!
Could you share a few tips on public speaking? Like how do you prepare, if you are feeling nervous before getting on stage, or any other advice that could be helpful?
Thank you.
Hey Nader, Thanks for doing this.
I was curious around few things..
As a developer advocate how do you learn things quickly ? Especially with so many things happening in the web3 space
How can a backend engineer get into this space (almost the same as previous question)
How can a company build their own Dao or tokens , will we eventually have Nft as a service or community as a service etc ?
Also huge respect for everything you have done for the dev community 🙏
Looking forward to meeting you in real life one day
Hi Nader, how successful has the curator and indexer features on The Graph become and what's in the future for these features?
Hi, Nader - What interesting idea would you like to see companies use web3 for?
