Hey there (looking forward to a response), I've been curious about the life of a dev in Japan for some time now. Thank you for this article! A few things I'd like clarity on, however: Which engineer degree is required? I'm actually going to start my Computer Science course in Fall. What level of Japanese is required? I'm still at N5 because I haven't practice enough. But I want to take the 4 years during my studies to focus on Japanese.

To add to the "My writing skills are poor" section, definitely read more blogs. One of the things I did, and I'm still learning, is reading more articles and seeing the techniques they use in their writing. Reading more helps you to write better. Kudos!

With the Windows 10 May 2019 update, there's the option to pause the updates so that it doesn't do that automatically. This might be a solution to both points made above.
