Well, why I am a developer? because it's fun and involve more logic then imagination. And to venture into any new technology, you don't need to go to school, or training course, you just pick it and go for it. Every time, when you completed a working feature, it makes you feel good.
I'm a font-end developer, in a typical day of good sprint week, I would say two sentences to a guy sits next to me "Good morning Erin" and "See you tomorrow". Since most of us the Coder spends roughly 8 hours a day staring at the screen, I will definitely don't want to bring any digital into my hobby. I enjoy watch my Budgies singing and calling one another, I also have two doves and they wake me up every morning with their beautiful cooing. I have green front yard, which I often turns it into water park and play with my daughter. it's really much fun to turn yourself into 5 years old, so you can play with you kid.
