Amazing! Really happy for you. I can relate to the path you chose of landing a job as a self-taught dev. My father had to endure a lot of people saying "get him into a university", "this cannot work in our country" etc. Thanks for putting your story out. We need a lot more of these.

The creative burst part is very true. Those short times are way more productive than normal, long ones.

Great article! I also went through a similar path, having to take two internships first and then getting a job through a reference. After my first job, having a degree was not so important anymore since actual work skills took its place.
