Avijit Biswas You do not use 'source .bashrc' in GUI version of 'terminal'/to handle user sessions; there are other tools dedicated for this. Sourcing is typical for server enviroment. Here it fits perfectly.

Avijit Biswas POPOS? You mean PopOS? quite nice OS indeed. For applying changes without logging out and back in, I use source .bashrc command. It reloads your shell, applying all changes you have done to env from last login.

Few things here: you dont have to cd into each dir to list its content. You an just do ls straight away. dont have to logout and back in; you just reload users env, thats it. No need to do session manipulation. Scammy content btw
