Are there any other awesome image management platforms like Cloudinary?

I am Chinese and PHP beginner. Today I found this wonderful site Hashnode. And I feel the image manager is amazing when I update my avatar. So I checked how it works, and I just see they using Cloudinary. However I live China, where calling on Cloudinary slowly. I want to know if there are any other awesome image manager platforms like Cloudinary?

East and West markets are very different. They also requires different solutions.

For China you always should take a look on Alibaba Group since it is a #1 IT services provider in Asia and Jack Ma has also cloud services https://cn.aliyun.com (English/International: https://intl.aliyun.com)

Thank you for your answer. They have no face detection.

@chuoke you can find many packages for face detection with PHP/JavaScript and do it on your side.

I would recommend always doing image manipulations with JS on client-side. For example, when user uploads a large images in a form, I have a simple JS which automatically resizes image from 8mb to 400kb in dimensions I need. Back-end should only store files in any local storage or cloud and do a simple validation when required. With this approach you also sending to a server much smaller size of data, and server shouldn't waste time for additioanal processing, so you gain maximum request-response time.

Maybe Alternatives to Cloudinary here you can find some alternatives.

Maybe Blitline, can help you.

Or in other ways you can try with AWS, Google Platform or Microsoft Azure with all the services that they have, that are cdn and file storage :)
