Granular control on notifications
When I follow someone on the network I start getting notifications about all their activity, which is fine except it adds a lot of noise and its very trivial to lose interesting ones for example when someone posts a new story.
IMHO, activity like commented (or similar if in use - liked, shared, etc) should/could be excluded from notifications and shown on the homepage feed?
Or,
Atleast having the ability to mute specific types of activity would be nicer. Here is an example:

Thanks for raising this. We are considering this and bringing other upgrades too to the present notifications system.

To the notification of activities -- liked, commented, shared -- my suggestion is to reduce the size of those notifications to a single line, unless we are personally mentioned in some comment, etc. (I hope you get what I'm trying to convey here.)
