I have lots of hobbies. Some I practice more than others and none I do as much as I'd like. I definitely prefer non-tech/non-computer related hobbies. I think I like the juxtaposition.
There are a bunch of articles out there that talk about studies that link spending a few days in nature, unplugged from gadgets, and an improvement in creativity. I haven't really look too hard at the studies, but anecdotally, I certainly feel that it does. I highly encourage folks in our industry to unplug from time to time.
