Firefox, Chrome, chrOpera, and Vivaldi: Open the developer console (hit F12). Under the network tab choose "disable cache", leave the console open. (you don't want it in the way move it to it's own separate window).

DONE.

Generally during development I would THINK you'd have the console/document inspector open anyways for debugging.

Ravin Lad Are you working in different tabs, it can be a per-tab setting depending on the browser since each console/inspector instance is per-tab as well.

Sometimes it also doesn't take effect until you ctrl-F5 doing a full refresh, which is ANOTHER shortcut you can use to reload the page fresh discarding the cache -- as others already mentioned.
