There remains a very delicate balance in this world, between those who create and those who will experience the creations of others. I can't say that I wasn't aware of this. However, I had never experienced it. Now, thanks to you, I finally have. As long as the there is someone who will appreciate the work involved in creation, the effort is time well spent. To this end, I will continue to create for as long as I can.

Ah! It is so nice to find a fellow Pixel Art enthusiast in here! I have always wanted to do Pixel Art, but never really got around to it seriously; got into the comfort zone of being a consumer rather than being a creator!
I have a collection, though, of pixel art learning resources which I had collected, in the hopes of being great at it one day. I am unsure of the location of that collection; but a search has brought up the ones that I was looking forward to perusing.
As @razorbeard has put it, DeviantArt has some of the best resources; here are a couple which come highly recommended to start learning pixel art
This tutorial by Derek Yu of Spelunky fame, is highly revered among Pixel Art enthusiasts as a perfect beginning place to get a grip on the basics of all of the techniques involved in making Pixel Art.
