Google Glass was a promising project. I thought of building an app which could show the name, age, etc. (publicly available information) of a particular person just by looking at them. π
Unfortunately, Google shut it down. What were the possibilities?
It still is promising, just maybe not as a consumer product: x.company/glass has some cool examples.
Imagine having Person of Interest style facial recognition with those graphics. You see everything about a person. No, not their Social security number (I hope).
In fact Google Glass is still an ongoing project, you can buy them. They simply changed focus a bit to more specific groups than consumer.
