Sreenivas Mekala Do you have laravell in you composer.json dependencies? otherwise composer will not download + resolve it correct.

I'm creating laravel project Via Composer Create-Project. because when i tried to install via laravel installer composer global require laravel/installer.

I got an error like Installation failed, deleting ./composer.json.

Sreenivas Mekala why global? you should just use require. it's project specific :).

can i use composer require laravel/installer . I'm learning laravel based on YouTube videos.

Sreenivas Mekala very good point I don't use the installers :) I was more focused on the composer stuff. But I think Emil Moe is way better qualified to answer this. I am a PHP programmer not an artisan :)
