More specifically: Is there a way to have D3-diagrams in PowerPoint-presentations (or reasonable competetitor-software)?
I never found a really good solution for Powerpoint, Keynote or Libreoffice Impress. Currently I'm using http://lab.hakim.se/reveal-js/
If you're into writing React and are familiar with react-d3, you can try Spectacle. It's some pretty good stuff and definitely wow-ed people while presenting.
Since Spectacle can support custom React components, I don't see why it wouldn't be able to support react-d3. I've only used a couple of custom components, but never react-d3 with the library.
