Responsive is very important and flexibility. Also different kind of charts, but mainly stacks and lines.

Is it possible to create it with just HTML, CSS and JavaScript without SVG and still get all the features? Sounds like it could boost performance.

Responsive can be achieved with CSS. Right now, all items are rendered using percentage for width and height, so they adapt to various screen resolutions.

Some features: various representations (bar, column, waterfall, segment, gauge), threshold value, aggregated values (TBI), multiple series, stacked series.

Regarding code, I am using jQuery for this because it helps me be more productive.

People are moving away from jQuery fast and a lot reject to use projects that inculdes jQuery since it's an overhead. I think it's sad if you spend a lot time in a project like this and it turns out great but never becomes anything because of jQuery.

What about line charts? Those are the most commonly used.

I see this trend about leaving jQuery behind, but at this stage it helps me a lot.

Regarding line charts, I am thinking about an algorithm but it is too tricky to represent continuous lines from divs.
