Paul Watts Flo's notepad 2, though I turn off most of the crap like colour syntax highlighting (aka the uselessly illegible acid trip), the toolbar wasting screen space that would be better used to display code, nonsense like autocompletion, etc, etc.
Aka something simple that doesn't result in my screaming at the display "For **** sake just let me type the damned code!"
Both Atom and VSCode have the problem that I type so fast I can actually outrun the damned keyboard buffer even on a bloody i7 4770k, so most of these "hey look it's 30 megabytes+ just for a lousy text editor" do NOT blow my skirt up.
