Brave is a great browser with few exceptions.

I'm missing some plugins or extensions, but the overall feel is very positive. The reason why I'm not using it daily is that rescuetime.com doesn't support the Brave browser. I use rescuetime.com to check where I'm wasting time and negatively impact my productivity. Brave, unlike Chrome or Firefox, isn't correctly analyzed to recognized my spent-time-on-websites.

I use Brave on my iPhone, and I love it. Maybe shortly, Brave learns how to synchronize bookmarks between mobile and desktop or at least sync open tabs or make them available somehow to be accessed from different devices.

I used Brave desktop for a couple of weeks until I realized my rescuetime.com stats are broken.

I would use Brave as my default browser again - if the rescuetime.com issue gets fixed or I find a similar time tracking service not messing around with Brave.

I am also using Brave and RescueTime, however some sites are still not supported very well on Brave. May be we need to report it as a bug to both Brave and RescueTime.

I think it's a rescuetime.com bug. When details logging is enabled for Brave, I see which site I was browsing for how long and when; but each website counts to 'Brave' and gets reported under the same category as Brave is. Browsing Twitter in Brave counts as Utilities/Browser - neutral. Browsing Twitter in Chrome counts as socials - very distracting.

Hello. RescueTime currently supports Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Internet Explorer on Windows. Your results with other browsers will vary and will most likely not return full details. We may be able to increase our support to include other browsers in the future. If you have any trouble with RescueTime logging from a supported browser, please let me know.
