It's 3:39 AM in Lagos Africa. I'm awake trying to figure out why exactly I'm not in bed asleep again.
I love to code, there is this powerful sense of freedom and fulfillment I feel when I can express myself, solve a problem or build a solution programming with JavaScript. It's addictive! Is there some therapy for this?
The search for new project ideas using JavaScript is the excuse for staying up late tonight, can't tell what excuse I'll come up with tomorrow. And just to be sure I'm still human...I'll have to ask "what makes you stay up late at night"
I have bought a power outlet timer that I use to turn off my internet at around 23h.
Of course I could turn it back on, but I've tried to make that a hassle, so usually it's enough to convince me to go to bed.
Otherwise I'll stay awake for coding too. I doubt that's common in general, but this is a programming community so you'll probably find some like-minded people.
install f.lux in you computer, turns down the blue so you feel more tired when it gets late.

The less code you use, the less there is to break
I have non-24 sleep-wake disorder - my non-circadian period being 26 hours. As such I sleep and extra hour or so and am awake an extra hour or so than the rest of the world, so I'm on a constant "rotation".
