Currently using codeacademy, been recommended JS The Good Parts to read but definitely not at that level yet.
With the answer of @arivers36 than I agree (FCC is king as content and community) I would add this path that seem solid and also the reference MDN which is great to explore side by side while building projects.

I think FreeCodeCamp is a great start... It's project based and has a great community around it
