Hashnode is a true community. The last time I remember being so interested in the people within a community (past the BBS days) would be my early days on WebMasterWorld.
There's no traffic cop screaming, "STOP! That question was asked five years ago and if you continue to question our false authority and antiquated solutions, we'll ban you. Oh! And if you like to ask questions... don't. We'll ban you. Oh! And, if your question isn't something we've used to monopolize Google SERPs with, we'll disable it, prevent a discussion... and, why not... we'll ban you. Wait!!! Where you going?"
StackOverflow is the same to a developer, as the GPS is to Uber and Lyft drivers. Highly-inaccurate, takes too much effort for something that's supposed to be simpler, and eventually causes you to quit.
