I really like the look of this. I've considered using Ruby over a decade ago, but I changed my mind when I saw some of its drawbacks; two of them being a lack of Windows support, and what a pain just installing a Ruby app and running it was, even under linux. Maybe Crystal would be worth checking out. Even though there's still no windows support...
edit: Okay, maybe soon? The install page still only lists instructions for WSL, but a github issue from December seems to indicate a Windows build exists already.
