Very true. This brings back memories from my early days with embedded Rust :) The landscape has sure changed and things have become much better. In fact, I'm working on material nowadays that eliminates many of those hurdles. I'll make sure to link it here.

Good to know I am not alone. I share the same challenges. HALs were quite confusing how to use and which one. I wish there was better docs for the boards first and then for associated Hals how to be used.

Thanks for reading Todor. I totally agree. What made it more confusing at times were the resources themselves. The Discovery series for example jumps around in abstractions in different areas of the book. For a beginner, it really throws you off as your mind would be set in a certain direction. I didn't realize this until later in my journey. As we progress I'm sure this will get better. It's good to understand the challenges though.
