Great post. I'm a older sw developer but a hobbyist game dev yet I have not yet participated in any game jams. Not perhaps because I don't have the skills (I have games and game related code in my github) for it but I really don't know why... perhaps thinking entering one could take too much time. Well, bullshit since I am spending my free time with my hobby, games and game development anyways.

I'll definitely check out for future game jamps for possible entry. Thanks for the post!
