tl;dr: The most relevant solution to "How to get a job without experience" is to answer the question of "How to get experience without a job?"

"Position yourself as an expert experienced in that field" - I do not think it is a good idea as long as have no experince
You might be reading it the wrong way. I don't mean to recommend lying/faking it.
What I mean is - create your own experience with side projects, open source, learning + teaching
