Yeah, it's difficult in the beginning, but once you're used to it, you will enjoy writing it.

/**before the function declaration, and select the JSDoc comment snippet suggestion:

An added benefit is that you can generate Docs in Markdown with JSDoc

I am the creator of JSDoc. I released the very first version as open source all the way back in 2001 believe it or not (it was originally implemented in Perl though!) My last commit to the project was back in 2013, but whenever I occasionally stumble on articles like this I am amazed and so pleased that it is still being used and still useful. Thank you, Dharmen for sharing such an excellent tutorial; I found your article very well written and a great resource for others.
