Hey Tapas, I first read some of your work on Synchronous vs Asynchronous JavaScript β Call Stack, Promises, and More synchronous-vs-asynchronous-in-javascript, which was enlightening on the underlying workings of the JavaScript engine. Thanks so much for that, it was the first time that anyone had explained that.
I was enjoying this post up until the point where you wrote the fetch() function at which point I was rather disturbed and momentarily discombobulated! Personally, I think you should rename that function (function getFakeAPI() lol!) because we have the fairly recently introduced FetchAPI
Just my 2 penny's worth :-P
...but thanks again, great post.

This one is over the top like I came across your blog on Async Js at freeCodeCamp and since from there the concepts clearance I'm getting is something huge, Hats Off Sir.
Awesome article! I think that there should be a return user. email in promise chain rule #2.c in the first .then() after checking if "hr" is in permissions. This is for properly passing down the user email in the case that "hr" is NOT in the permissions, I believe!
Great article anyways! I love working through your examples - hopefully I can learn promises and async programming so that I can move on to finally learn reactjs!
A well-written and nicely structured article about Promises. β€οΈ
Amazing article Tapas
I like how well you explained the concept πππ
Very easy explanation! I still completely don't understand Promises but this makes everything glow!
Wow wow wow.
This is incredible, well done Mr. Tapas
I am definitely recommending this to my community πππ
