Yes, accessibility sucks, especially when you need it most. I've talk to other blind users like myself, and broken accessibility is the reason why Linux is not used widely in blind community.
I think I'm still at the tutorial hell. I've been long enough here that I don't even notice. At least I got tons of reviews to write on my blog as a result.
