Can you be a bit more specific? Which part is giving you headache?

So I got the canonical url. It works when I open it up in browser. Unfortunaltely,Devto marks this as an invalid URL..To clear my doubts about my copy paste, I tried it out in theURL code tool and pasted it once more..I get the same message.

Can you please share the link to the article you've republished on devto?

I have no issues with the article I've republished there, the canonical has been taken care of automatically.

Also, did you follow all the instructions for republishing on devto?

Don't paste the code, just paste the URL.
