Hi Josef Let me tell you something, you cannot be quick if you are junior, no body can, being slow is normal in the beginning. I am slow too, although I am ahead of you in the field by one year. But your speed will increase gradually so you don't have to worry, and even if you are really slow in grasping new technologies, you might be fast in applying them.. and you might be gifted in connecting the dots between different technologies. So don't let a point of weakness put you down, you might have a lot of strengths. I remember when you first joined hashnode, you were very passionate and you invested a lot of time and effort to learn, And I really believe that this is all what it takes to become a developer : passion, effort and time. So forget about your previous experience and look ahead to fulfill your dream. Good luck
Too many things happened dear :) At the time I wrote this comment, I was just stepping my first steps in learning python ... now I have learned python .. Java .. android .. git .. sql .. and made a couple of projects Thanks again for your encouragement 😊
Recently I started focusing more on Python.. So I started by improving my python skills. Added some web scrapping knowledge using requests module Improved my regex knowledge using python. learned some django . Some Tkinter for UI. And currently planning to learn kivy a python framework for multiplatform UI, as well as socket for network operations, and then I will start learning data analysis and AI in Python. Aside from Python I also learnt: Html basics (I am too late I know 😂) Vim editor. dived more in Git and sql. And that's it for now, but this is a very good question by the way because it made me evaluate how did I progress in previous period and how should I plan for the upcomming period. Thanks for the invite :)
