I think for me, it depends on your goal. Do you want to be a company guy or a freelancer, most of the Big companies requires a degrees, however freelancers doesn't need a degree. University degree is good for getting lots of contacts and maybe help you to get internships and of course you will get a paper like diploma/certificate but usually takes 4-5 years and very expensive, however with bootcamp it's better if you already have the experience to further improve the skills you already have and get a practice/experience working with latest technologies. Bootcamp is much cheaper compare to a cost of University degree but I think you can learn a lot from it in just like 3 or 6 months of time, and most of them will help you to set your career.

Hi guys! I'm Genesis, a newbie coder, studying currently on web development and computer science for a good foundation concepts. I want to be a Full Stack Developer or JavaScript Developer, I wanted to learn React, but I'm not yet ready, because I want to master/get a good foundation on vanilla JavaScript first. On my learning part I'm currently on manipulating DOM, though I'm having a hard time, my resources I'm using are Modern JavaScript From the Beginning by brad traversy, The Web Developer Bootcamp by Colt Steele, CS50 by harvard Edx, Programming Foundations Fundamentals by Simon Allardice, codecademy, and freecodecamp. If you have any advise I would love and appreciate it. Happy coding for all of us.
