A home built around writing
The old home opened to a feed. You came to write, then had to go dig for your drafts. We rebuilt it.
The home is for your work now

Log in and you land on your drafts, your published articles, and your publications. No feed in the way. Pick up the draft you left open yesterday and keep going.
The discovery feed didn't go anywhere. It moved to /feed, where you go when you want to read, not write.
Less interface, more writing
We took things away. One accent color, cobalt, instead of a palette. Flat outlined surfaces instead of cards stacked on shades of gray. One spacing rhythm across the whole app.
Hashnode defaults to dark now. If you already picked a theme, we kept it.
The point of an editorial tool is the words. Everything else should be quiet. So we made it quiet.
A redesigned sidebar
We rebuilt the sidebar to stay out of your way and keep the focus on your content.
Cards you can actually read
Feed posts dropped the old vote rail bolted to the left. Each post is a clean card with its actions along the bottom. Comments and replies got the same treatment.
Publications, not blogs. Articles, not posts.
We renamed things to match how people talk. A blog is a publication. A blog post is an article. Same word in the app, the dashboard, the settings, and the editor.
Setup that waits its turn
The publication setup checklist used to float over your dashboard and cover what you were doing. Now it sits inline at the top of General settings as quick actions. Work through them, or skip the whole thing in one click.
