Explain then to my office of 500 that IE is dead. Or our 700 agents that IE is dead.
The general public does not give a crap what browser they use. They simply know the green E is the internet. And seeing how Windows is the go to choice for many, many, companies - supporting IE is still very relevant.
We’ve discussed this before - you hate windows and will not pay for it or use it - but a good developer is aware of what their customers use and cannot just say nope! Not gonna support it. That can and will be a loss of users, loss of traffic and if your so lucky to have it, loss in revenue. Every customer you turn away because you don’t support IE is a missed opportunity.
If those are risks your willing to take, by all means, ignore IE. There are hundreds of other companies that will theoretically welcome your customers with open arms and support IE. And take their money.
