If sales guy has good knowledge of programming and the PM then it will be more beneficial to the company. I think I am very good in sales. ;)
The sales person mentality is totally different from programmers. Typical programmer can build a masterpiece. But a sales person sells comb to blade person. I believe every programmer should try "sales" at-least one time in our career. It can be changes of your thinking. I also agree with Hipkiss part 2. Thanks Mev-Rael
