I've been using PHP and Java for about 5 years and I am planning to develop a web application using Rails.
First, I want to know is it worth it to go from Laravel and Spring framework to Rails ? Also, if you can help me with links and resources or at least tell me what is the best way to learn Ruby on Rails?
Thanks

something JS and something Ruby!
Really not sure whether its a good time to learn Ruby and Rails if you already know Java and PHP. I don't see any particular advantage that RoR has over established frameworks like Spring and Laravel. In fact Ruby is much slower than Java. Maybe Rails community is a little better than those frameworks but honestly you will get everything that you need in those frameworks as well. Had you been just beginning as a web developer, I would have recommended Rails but not after you have done 5 years of web dev in other good frameworks. Personally, I think its not worth it.
However incase you go ahead, here's a good learning path for it.
Above resources have good rigour and good amount of hands-on coding and also you end up making some projects. I think this should get you flying as a rails developer.
Best of luck! :)
