I've found a few repos, that accomplish something similar, but I'm not actually looking for a product that's been built using it. Can't seem to find a way to do this with Google Maps/Places directly, although I'd love to be proven wrong.

I did find "Melissa" by searching google.com/search

However, "I'm looking for just an engine, not a car."

The purpose is to create a simple view using Google Maps (and, if needed, another mapping service), which simply highlights areas within each route. I have seen a few of them using HELLO and a few untitled sources - including USPS itself at:

eddm.usps.com/eddm/customer/routeSearch.action

...but still haven't been able to establish a plain-jane route mapping interface, even researching EMMD (Every Door Direct Mail) over the past week.

There also seems to be a Github repo for: growmail.com/eddm-map-tool

I'm not sure if this can be reverse engineered via github.com/robheath/growmail - which seems like it would be looking for a needle in a haystack. Another repo I found was github.com/authalic/delstat.

I'm sure there's something out there that doesn't cost an arm an a leg to access, and was hoping one of you guys had enough experience to steer me in the right direction with this.
