Liike. Tiny JS tweening library.

I started to create a brand new tiny next-gen JS tweening library. I'd like to get some feedback, so what do you think? 😎

I would like some more information about what it can be used for. Would be a shame if you create a good library, but people browse around it because we simply don't understand what it can do.

My concern is that what you show being done with it isn't anything I'd be having JavaScript even handle anymore, apart from perhaps doing class swaps to trigger behaviors -- and we really don't even need that anymore.

CSS3 can do all that without JS' help.

There's cases where CSS animations aren't enough:

1) if i.e. translate and rotate tweens overlaps but aren't in sync

2) when you need precise delays for multiple animations, CSS animations don't work – they are not precise for several reasons

3) if you need scrubbable timeline (coming soon), or any other custom stuff like special easings

Of course when it's possible to use CSS animations, they're good.

Although not everything are valid anymore.

Under heavy pressure, CSS transitions were more likely to spray out in bands/rings (this appears to be a synchronization/scheduling issue, possibly due to them being managed in a different thread).

This is btw proof for my 3)
